Yorkshire Medical Marketing and its owner, Kara Dudley have been shortlisted for the ‘At your service – Best small service business ’ category at the prestigious Small Awards for exceptional levels of service towards healthcare providers.
Local marketing and communications specialist, Kara Dudley provides outsourced marketing to a growing number of busy healthcare clients including NHS providers, therapists and hospital consultants. One award-winning project with GP federation, West Wakefield Health & Wellbeing (WWHW) has resulted in millions of patients in England having better access to appointments at their GP surgeries thanks in part to Kara’s marketing consultancy.
Specialising in healthcare and medical marketing, Kara is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has worked in marketing management for fifteen years. Together with a team of extremely gifted freelance associates and contractors, she launched her start-up marketing business in early 2016. The Sheffield-based company has grown quickly, attracting clients nationwide, but the WWHW project has been of special significance, providing a genuine opportunity to help to make people’s lives better.
Kara Dudley commented: “Supporting people to feel better quicker through the work I’ve done at West Wakefield and elsewhere is hugely rewarding. I may not be a doctor or therapist but realising how my input has genuinely touched people’s lives is pretty special. I love my work and that in itself is the reward each day for me.”
Being shortlisted for any award so early in a company’s history is a significant achievement, but The Small Awards is a highly sought-after national awards, purely celebrating the UK’s small business sector. Judged without bias or agenda, winners are selected solely on the strong record of serving their target customer set and for providing exceptional levels of service and strong customer engagement.
